This can include waiting to drive for a day or two, not getting any water in your eye, avoiding going swimming (especially in natural bodies of water) for a week or a few months, and using prescription antibiotic and anti-inflammatory eye drops. It is important that you follow all of the instructions that your doctor gives you after your surgery. If you do not, your eye might not heal properly, creating worse vision problems or other serious complications like severe infections.
